Privacy Policy
SoloDevMeet is a learning and communication community. This policy explains what information the service handles and the choices available to you.
Information you provide
We store your display name, protected password credentials, profile details, learning progress, room and private messages, code, classroom submissions, safety reports, and files you choose to upload. Passwords and recovery codes are stored as one-way hashes, not readable text.
Browser and technical information
Your browser stores a generated account identifier and session token in local storage so you remain signed in. The service processes IP address, approximate city, region and country, room or app area, and request time for security, abuse prevention, reliability, and private operator monitoring. This is network-derived information, not precise GPS location. Visitor-intelligence records are available only to the authenticated administrator and automatically expire after 30 days. A service worker may cache app files for installation and faster loading.
How information is used
Information is used to operate rooms, messages, games, classrooms, profiles and learning tools; authenticate accounts; prevent spam and abuse; investigate reports; maintain security; and improve the service.
Visibility and sharing
Display names, public profiles, public room messages, shared code and classroom materials may be visible to other users. Private messages are visible to their participants and may be accessed when necessary for safety, support, security, or legal obligations. Do not post secrets or information you do not want others to keep.
Service providers
Hosting, database, file-delivery and AI providers may process information only as needed to provide their services. Embedded or linked third-party services, such as YouTube or GIF providers, have their own privacy practices.
Advertising and cookies
If advertising is enabled, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to serve and measure ads. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies based on visits to this and other sites. You can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Where required, an approved consent message will be shown before advertising storage or personalized ads are used.
Your controls
Account settings let you change your password, revoke other sessions, download an export, and permanently delete your account. You can also delete certain profile items and messages within the app. Some records may be retained temporarily for security, backups, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
Children
SoloDevMeet is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum digital-consent age required in their country. Do not use the service if you are below the applicable age without authorization from a parent or guardian.
